assessment and treatment, specialize comprehensive Autism evaluations, provide

cognitive behavioral therapy, along with providing an encompassing approach to find

answers and solutions by communicating with family members, parents, teachers,

caregivers, and other medical professionals so that everyone can see the path you

We offer gold-standard assessments using cutting edge tools and measurements for children/teens up to adulthood (18 months to adults).

About Therapy / Sessions

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone experiencing emotional distress, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, or life transitions. If you're unsure, an initial consultation can help determine if therapy is a good fit for you.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Therapy is useful for managing stress, anxiety, or life challenges. It offers support and helps with personal growth. A consultation can help you decide if it’s the right option.

How long does each therapy session last?

Standard therapy sessions last 50 minutes. Extended sessions (80 minutes) may be available based on your needs.

How often should I attend therapy?

The frequency of sessions depends on your unique situation. Many clients start with weekly sessions and later adjust to biweekly or monthly sessions as progress is made.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, therapy is confidential. However, there are legal exceptions, such as concerns of self-harm, harm to others, or abuse reporting obligations. Your therapist will discuss confidentiality with you in detail.

Can I switch therapists if I feel the current one isn’t the right fit?

Absolutely. Finding the right therapist is important. If you feel your current clinician isn’t the best match, you’re encouraged to discuss it or request a referral to another therapist.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

You must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations will be charged the full session fee.

How long does therapy take?

The length of therapy varies by individual. Some clients see progress in a few months, while others continue for long-term support depending on their goals and concerns.

Can I bring a family member or partner to my session?

Yes, if it is relevant to your treatment. Couples and family therapy options are available. However, individual sessions are typically private unless discussed with your clinician.

Financial Options – Payment & Insurance

Do I need to pay for therapy upfront?

Yes, payment is due at the time of service unless a different arrangement has been made.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

Do you offer sliding scale fees or financial assistance?

Yes, we offer limited sliding scale options based on financial need. Please inquire about availability.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept the following insurances for therapy and assessments:

Therapy: Lyra, Kaiser*, Aetna*, Regence - BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon*, Pacific Source*, ComPsych*

Assessments: Kaiser*, Pacific Source*, ComPsych*

(Some plans require a referral. Check with your provider for details.)

What if my insurance doesn’t cover therapy?

If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we can provide a superbill for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider about out-of-network benefits.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my session?

If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you may receive a full refund or session credit. If you cancel within 24 hours, the full session fee will be charged, and no refund will be issued.

What is your policy for psychological assessment payments?

A $2,500 down payment is required for assessments. The remaining balance is due at the feedback session. Assessments are capped at $3,500, even if additional clinician time is required.

Do you offer payment plans for assessments?

Yes, in cases of financial hardship, we may offer payment installment plans. Please discuss this with us in advance.

What happens if my insurance denies my claim?

You are responsible for full payment of services regardless of insurance decisions. We do not handle insurance appeals but will provide necessary documentation for your claim submission.

Can I use my HSA or FSA for therapy?

Yes! Most HSA and FSA plans cover therapy and psychological assessments. Please check with your provider to confirm eligibility.
